The Union of Agricultural Work Committees
The Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) defines itself as “one of the largest agricultural development institutions in Palestine.” UAWC is listed by Fatah as a PFLP “affiliate” and a USAID-engaged audit refers to it as the “agricultural arm” of the terror group.
Several UAWC staff members, founders, board members, and general assembly members are tied to the PFLP. This includes Samer Arbid, UAWC’s financial director, accused by Israeli security officials of leading a PFLP terror cell that murdered a 17-year-old Israeli girl in August 2019.
